These doctoral theses were written at the Molecular Biology Institute at the University of California Los Angeles. A fruitful exchange with postgrad students and other colleagues was crucial to the research that led to Paul Boyer’s Nobel Prize. The theses are on the same subject as Boyer’s Nobel Prize-awarded research – how ATP is formed in the cells of organisms. In his Nobel Prize lecture, Boyer referred, among other things, to articles he co-authored with the authors of the theses: Karen Justine Guerrero, Richard I Feldman, Jill Ann Myers, Gary Rosen and Zhixiong Xue.
The theses were presented to the Nobel Prize Museum to the Nobel Prize Museum in 2017 by Professor Steve Clarke, University of California Los Angeles, whose office once was Paul Boyer's office. - Pristagare
