When the peace agreement between Colombia’s government and the FARC rebel group was signed, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos used a pen made of ammunition. The pen was originally created as a symbol of change when Colombia’s budget for education became larger than the military budget.
Juan Manuel Santos donated the pen to the Nobel Prize Museum in 2016.
